Glossing Activity

This was a great activity to look at your essay in a different way and a way to help edit your essay. I realized that I tended to repeat myself a lot and that some of the paragraphs need work. I also realized that I could combine two paragraphs since they are really talking about the same thing. I believe that I need to go to the satellite companies and cable companies websites to find more information about both of them to help with the research. I also need to have more quotes and back some of my information up with research. I feel that I have just wrote about what I know and need to add some more information that will help me make my essay longer and better. I think that I am off to a good start, but I need to do some more research and add some more facts about each one. I also think that I need to organize my paper better by changing some of the paragraphs around. I made a little personal comment at the beginning, but I think that I could add some personal experience to help the flow of the paper and add some interest to it. After adding some more information and another round of peer editing, I believe that I will have a better essay and be in the right direction for the pencil grade draft.
